The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) will provide an overview and inform attendees of their federally protected rights in the workplace. Cleveland Sight Centers Outreach Specialist Tom Sawyer, the Manager of Strategic Partnerships Alicia Howerton, and the Employment Specialist, Broadies Hayes, will discuss what happens when glasses are not enough. The team will provide an overview of the agency's programs and services designed to enhance the independence, education, career, and support opportunities of those with vision loss. Broadies will also discuss best practices for recruiting and employing persons with vision loss.
