Peer Review for Form 5500 Proposed Regulations

This document is about the United States Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration conducting a peer review of certain "influential scientific information" related to burden estimates for the proposed regulations governing the annual reporting requirements for employee benefit plans under Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). The peer review is intended to evaluate the plan universe estimates, unit cost estimates, and the methods used in the spreadsheet model to generate the burden estimates, and to provide advice on the overall level of confidence in the burden estimates.
