Transition Employment Assistance for Military Spouses and Caregivers (TEAMS) is a series of Department of Labor (DOL) employment workshops that extend the Department’s Transition Assistance Program to assist military spouses and caregivers as they plan and prepare for their job search in pursuit of their employment goals. All TEAMS workshops are instructor-led virtual training, provided at a variety of times, to meet the needs of individuals stationed throughout the world.

In recognition of November's Home Care & Hospice Month, we invite you to join us for a free webinar on minimum wage, overtime, and record keeping requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act as it relates to home care and nursing care.

This event will help workers understand protections afforded by current law and how to talk to their employers and assert their rights. The webinar will also equip employers with information to be in compliance with the law.

We will provide video conference information at least one day prior to the event.

OSHA is hosting a meeting to solicit public comments and suggestions related to its Whistleblower Protection Program.

The agency is seeking input on: 

1. How can OSHA deliver better whistleblower customer service?
2. What kind of assistance can OSHA provide to help explain the agency’s whistleblower laws to employees and employers?

OSHA will hold a stakeholder meeting Oct. 12 to explain its Process Safety Management rulemaking project to prevent catastrophic chemical-release incidents.
