This is a research study that seeks to document the form of recruitment and economic logic of human trafficking and forced labor, as well as to establish analytical connections with the importance of illegal economies and organized crime in the triple border area of Peru, Brazil, and Colombia. The study seeks to collect data that facilitates the development of intervention strategies and implementation of national public policies for prevention, detection and prosecution.
