A short compilation of international labor law commitments relevant to officials, employers, and workers in DR.

This training manual (Annex G) was developed within the framework of the International Labor Organization’s (ILO) "Together Against Child Labor in Tunisia" (PROTECTE) project. The  objective  of  this  project  is  to  provide  support  to  the  Tunisian Government and key stakeholders in the implementation of the National Action Plan to Combat Child Labor (PAN-TN). This manual is a technical training tool intended for field workers (labor inspectors, medical labor inspectors, social workers, child protection officers, judicial police officers, social partners and civil society) working with children at risk of and/or engaged in child labor. This manual should enable field actors to understand the key concepts, normative framework and good practices related to child labor; appreciate the importance of taking child labor into consideration in their areas of work; recognize their role in protecting children from exploitation; and transform the knowledge gained from the training into concrete measures that reduce the prevalence of child labor.

The purpose of this guide is to help Veracruz state and municipal administration officials strengthen the institutional capacity and public policies on the prevention and eradication of child labor, and the protection of adolescents of the legal age to perform labor. This guide is meant to be used as a reference document.

This report presents the joint research findings and conclusions on child labour, forced labour and human trafficking linked to global supply chains from the ILO, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), under the aegis of Alliance 8.7. This guide was developed by CLEAR II to support the training initiatives that the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (el Ministerio de Trabajo y Desarrollo Laboral, MITRADEL) has in order to develop a training program on specific inspection capacities for child labor, adapted to the needs identified by these inspectors. CLEAR II will support the adoption of this program by training inspectors who will use it to train others on child labor issues, as well as by working with MITRADEL to develop training plans and integrate them to train future labor inspectors.

This handbook aims to clarify the phenomenon of forced labor, outlines practical measures to address forced labor, as well as outlines specific actions that parliamentarians can take.

This document outlines the labor situation in Peru and provides the objectives of the national plan against forced labor which are aimed to decrease the presence of forced labor in the country through activities such as improving the response capacity of the state and raising awareness on the issue.

This guide is divided into two parts. Part I of the guide aims to clarify the phenomenon of forced labor. Part II of the guide presents the concrete measures required to combat forced labor, as well as specific initiatives that parliamentarians can take to address the phenomenon.
