This document is about the U.S. Department of Labor extending the applicability of the temporary NAIC-similar process standards for state-administered external review processes authorized under the Affordable Care Act until January 1, 2016, to give states additional time to bring their external review processes into compliance with the standards for an NAIC-parallel process.
