Advisory Opinion 2015-01A - California Law Enforcement Association (CLEA) Long Term Disability Plan

This document is an advisory opinion from the U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration on whether the California Law Enforcement Association (CLEA) Long Term Disability Plan is an employee welfare benefit plan covered under Title I of ERISA. The Department concludes that the CLEA LTD program does not constitute an employee welfare benefit plan under ERISA.
