Federal Embezzlement Charges Filed Against Two Mid-State Union Officials

This document is a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announcing federal embezzlement charges against two union officials. Brandon S. Borders, the former Secretary-Treasurer of the United Transportation Union Local 997, was charged with embezzling approximately $12,500 from the union. Ernest Milewski, the former president of the United Food and Commercial Workers Northeastern District Council, was charged with embezzling over $200,000 from the union and a related medical benefit fund.
