Five Individuals, Including One-Time Fraud Investigator, Arrested in Health Care Fraud Scheme

This document is a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California announcing the arrest of five individuals, including a former fraud investigator at Anthem Blue Cross, for a multi-year health care fraud scheme. The scheme allegedly involved the owners and operators of two clinics in the San Fernando Valley defrauding at least eight health insurance companies out of approximately $20 million through kickbacks, fraudulent billing, and other illegal practices.
