Jefferson City Physician Pleads Guilty to Making False Statements

This document is a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Missouri announcing that a Jefferson City, Missouri physician pleaded guilty to making false statements in order to receive payments on health care claims. The physician admitted to inflating the percentage of patient lesions and stenosis to ensure the claims would be paid, when in fact the percentages were substantially less.
