Day of Action to Promote Safety and Prevent Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment in the Trucking Industry. 4.28.22

Earlier this month, the Biden-Harris administration announced a Day of Action to raise awareness and advocate for the prevention of sexual assault and sexual harassment in the trucking industry. Gender-based violence undermines safety, health, well-being, economic potential, and human rights. In the trucking industry, it’s also a barrier to women’s entry and retention.
On April 28, join the Department of Labor and others around the country for a Day of Action to encourage the trucking industry to promote work environments free from sexual violence or harassment, improve training to prevent assault, and institute policies for responding to such incidents.

Participate in the conversation by sharing messages across your social platforms using #EndSexualViolenceInTrucking and #TruckingDayOfAction to raise awareness for the Day of Action.
