Transition Employment Assistance for Military Spouses and Caregivers (TEAMS) is a series of Department of Labor (DOL) employment workshops that extend the Department’s Transition Assistance Program to assist military spouses and caregivers as they plan and prepare for their job search in pursuit of their employment goals. This event, the second in a series co-hosted by the Women’s Bureau and the Cornell Worker’s Institute, will explore the challenges of the child care industry and highlight local examples that are improving access to child care while also raising wages for child care workers.

The Compliance Assistance for Construction Contractors workshop guides federal construction contractors through their Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action obligations when working on federal construction projects. It addresses construction contractor obligations found under the regulations implementing EO 11246, VEVRAA, and Section 503. It will also cover how to prepare for a compliance evaluation and the compliance review process.
