Join us for the first in a series of four webinars with the Labor Department’s Women's Bureau and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This webinar will focus on the importance of addressing gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH) in the service industry and how GBVH impacts worker health and safety. Speakers will include service industry workers, an employer, and representatives from UNITE HERE, SafeBars, Restaurant Opportunities Centers (ROC) United and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This presentation will be conducted in Spanish. The Protecting Workplace Rights presentation focuses on workers and their rights. It provides an overview of OFCCP, the laws it enforces and how to identify discrimination and file a complaint with OFCCP.

We will delve into the critical issues of gender-based violence in the workplace and the imperative to prevent human trafficking. This session aims to raise awareness, foster dialogue, and provide actionable insights for individuals and organizations committed to creating safe, inclusive work environments.
