PrintThis study is a market analysis and beneficiary needs assessment for a livelihood support program for freed-Haliyas in the Surkhet district, in context of the ILO’s ‘From Protocol to Practice: A Bridge to Global Action on Forced Labor’ (The Bridge Project). The main objective of this study was to collect and compile information on completed and on-going livelihood programs for freed-Haliya. In addition, the study sought to analyse the needs of the Freed-Haliyas and the labor market situation in Surkhet district, in order to recommend cost effective and sustainable livelihood options for Hailyas.
