ILAB-funded technical assistance projects produce a large body of knowledge and resources, including toolkits, project reports, training manuals, and implementation guides. A literature review of child labor and forced labor works in the major research bibliographic databases. Review queries yielded 614 original research papers published since 2010. This review found that the published literature overemphasizes research on forced labor. Impact evaluations, especially randomized control trials are rare. Hence, the literature is far from providing a complete toolkit of what works for child labor and forced labor. |
