Ghana is the largest producer of gold in western Africa. Its mines provide local families with the a meagre income extracted under dangerous working conditions. “Dreams of Gold” follows the stories of three children rescued from one of the most hazardous forms of child labour, mining for gold. |

ILO-produced video on the dark reality of child labour and poor working conditions in the Philippines. Funded by the United States Department of Labor, the project reached out to mining communities in Camarines Norte and South Cotabato, Philippines to transition from the informal economy and to shape a future without child labour that leaves no one behind through decent work. |
