This report provides information on beneficiaries after the WEKEZA project, including changes from the baseline study in household characteristics and knowledge of and attitudes toward child labor, as well as  information on the extent to which children aged 5 to17 remained engaged in child  labor. The  findings  are  presented with the findings of the baseline survey conducted in September  2013 and with the desired impacts on targeted beneficiaries. The report also  explains how each objective contributed to the overall achievement of the project. Of note, Appendix 2 in the document has been removed for privacy purposes. 

Endline study for the ARCH project, which assesses measurable changes that occurred throughout the lifespan of the project and compares the findings with those from the baseline survey. The endline survey provides improved understanding of the outcomes of project activities, changes that transpired in the prevalence of child labor in project areas, and assessed possible impacts of the project interventions on the project’s direct beneficiaries.

This document describes the compelling business interests of private sector enterprises operating in Liberia to help support the elimination of child labor. This document will; provide a narrative of the current engagement of the private sector in reducing and/or eliminating child labor; describe the root causes of child labor in the marketplace; identify various interventions to help mitigate child labor; highlight the benefits to private sector companies through the elimination of child labor; and recommend next steps, collaboration partners, and engagement opportunities.

This document presents Burkina Faso's 2018-2020 operational action plan to address the worst forms of child labor. The operational action plan is structured as follows: i) a brief presentation of the National Strategy to Combat the Worst Forms of Child Labor (SN-PFTE); (ii) an overview of the financing for the SN-PFTE action plan; (iii) an overview of the implementation and monitoring-evaluation strategy; iv) conditions for success, v) major risks, vi) a matrix of the SN-PFTE 2018-2020 Operational Action Plan.

The National Strategy for the Fight against the Worst Forms of Child Labor (Strategie Nationale de Lutte Contre les Pires Formes de Travail des Enfants (SN-PFTE)) defines guidelines and includes a set of actions to protect children against their exploitation through work. It also describes the mechanisms and procedures for implementing these actions. The document also includes an overview of the child labor situation in Burkina Faso.

The aim of this study is to conduct a district-level and community-level market assessment for goods and services to better understand current market gaps and opportunities for adolescent girls ages 15-17 and vulnerable women in targeted areas of Eastern province in Zambia. It is meant to conduct a Value Chain Analysis (VCA) of selected agricultural and non-agricultural products to identify the opportunities and challenges, identify the knowledge and skills gaps of adolescent girls and young women in business development (demand side) and the capacity of the training and livelihoods service providers in meeting the business development needs of adolescent girls and young women. Further, this study identifies the opportunities that business enterprises in the districts provide for the growth of entrepreneurship for adolescent girls and young women.

A report presenting the results of a baseline and prevalence survey on the topic of child labor administered to caregivers and children in Chadiza, Chipata, Katete, Lundazi, and Petauke in Eastern province of Zambia. The first part of the report covers the background information of the baseline study followed by detailed description of the approach used to collect, analyze and present the baseline findings. The report highlights some of the study limitations before presenting the baseline results. This is then followed by the conclusions and recommendations.
