Transition Employment Assistance for Military Spouses and Caregivers (TEAMS) is a series of Department of Labor (DOL) employment workshops that extend the Department’s Transition Assistance Program to assist military spouses and caregivers as they plan and prepare for their job search in pursuit of their employment goals. All TEAMS workshops are instructor-led virtual training, provided at a variety of times, to meet the needs of individuals stationed throughout the world.

Career Credentials - This two-hour workshop defines professional credentials and their importance, illustrates pathways for credentialing, and identifies license and credential portability resources.

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) Midwest Regional Office in partnership with Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center presents:

How Federal Contractors Can Effectively Work with Members of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community

Timothy Skaggs, Director- Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will deliver the keynote address. Timothy’s address will include and introduction to deafness and hearing loss, common myths and misunderstandings, and understanding communication accommodations/what works best when and for whom. Participants will be able to identify unique components of the deaf and hard of hearing community and culture. Information will also be provided to help generate strategies to improve workplace inclusivity in job postings while being mindful of needs of deaf or hard of hearing clients.
