A song calling out against child labor in Côte d'Ivoire.

A press briefing by Hon. Joseph Amenowode Member of Parliament (MP) for Afadjato and Chair of the Select Committee on Employment, Social Welfare and State Enterprises. The press briefing announces the launch of a Platform of ECOWAS Parliamentarians against Child Labour. Additionally, the press briefing also provides information on the situation of child labor in Ghana, existing regulations, as well as efforts and interventions made to address child labor.

This document provides an overview of some of the child labor related findings from a Ghana Living Standards Survey, as well as information regarding the situation of child labor, existing regulations,  as well as efforts and interventions made to address child labor in Ghana. The document also provides information on the launch of a Platform of  ECOWAS Parliamentarians against Child Labour.

The document is an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) tool to improve the working conditions of young workers of 16 and 17 years of age in the tea sector of Rwanda. It aims to help young workers in tea sector to achieve two main objectives: prevention of main risks associated to OSH hazards in tea plantations and tea factories; and performing on-site management of OSH accidents while waiting for support.

The 1st edition, Burmese language results of a 2015 study assessing whether existing national legislation is comprehensive enough to address child labour issues in Myanmar, with a special attention to the worst forms of child labour. This report aims to identify major issues and gaps and provide recommendations on the revision of national legislation pertaining to child labour, particularly hazardous work for minors, and possible approaches to effectively implement and monitor the laws. Reviews existing national laws and regulations in light of the international laws and standards relevant to the elimination of child labour and protection of young workers, in particular its two core Conventions: i.e. ILO Convention No. 138 on Minimum Age, 1973, and the ILO Convention No. 182 on Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention, 1999.
