This report proposes a conceptual framework of forced labor in Mauritania from an academic perspective, with the aim of identifying the terms and support provided by the BRIDGE project for the implementation of Law 2015-031.

The purpose of this BRIDGE project mid-term evaluation is to provide an independent assessment of its performance as well as account for any unexpected results, to document learning and good practices, and make recommendations toward enhancing the project’s impact and sustainability.
