This document provides an analysis, starting from the applicable international standards in defining hazardous child labor, their implementation in the Kosovo legal framework and focusing on the child victim to guarantee a victim-centered approach, to create a set of standard operating procedures for addressing hazardous child labor in Kosovo, in alignment with the applicable international standards.

This report was carried out with funding from the International Labor Organization (funding provided by the United States Department of Labor), the World Bank, and UNICEF. This report provides an assessment of the social protection system, including an inventory of Uzbekistan’s main social protection (SP) program as well as an analysis of their appropriateness, effectiveness, responsiveness and cost-efficiency and fiscal and financial sustainability. It identifies the main strengths and weaknesses of the system, and offers a set of conclusions and recommendations on strengthening the SP system in Uzbekistan. The key objective of the report is to inform the current and fast-moving reform programs aimed at maintaining a high economic growth rate, increasing competitiveness, and promoting international economic integration.

This policy paper explains the context of the brick industry in Nepal; laws and policies related to its management; and how these are changing in the new federal context. A legal analysis of policy gaps and responsibilities designated to the new local governments is meant to be of interest to local leaders as well as policy makers at the provincial, and federal level supporting them. This paper also provides recommendations for emerging issues to attend to and practical recommendations for ways forward to reduce labor exploitation and child labor and ensure effective industry insight.

Sustainability in Antioquia: public entities have positively expressed their interest in continuing with the actions developed by Somos Tesoro in this New Stage. This is how, through the field team, it has been possible to coordinate actions with the different actors to promote the sustainability of the initiatives and activities that are still active.

New Stage of Somos Tesoro in Three Lines of Action: As of 2019, Somos Tesoro begins a new stage in which it manages the sustainability of consolidated initiatives, and links new mining territories with the purpose of reducing child labor in an integral manner through the dissemination of its methodology and the implementation of a pilot.

This training manual was developed as a practical guide to be used by the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP), Immigration Department (ID), Royal Customs Police (RCP), and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA ) to provide information on the legal frameworks for forced labor and human trafficking; how to identify potential victims; how to protect potential victims’ rights; and how to refer cases.
