Two concept papers: "Differentiated Model of Practice Multi-Agency Unified Enforcement Procedures to Address Child Labor, Forced Labor and Human Trafficking Cases" and "Inter-Platforms Action Plan Coordination Mechanism"

This guide is a joint endeavor by Verité and the Labour Department to help build the capacities of labor inspectors to conduct labor inspections in both the formal and informal sectors with emphasis on the informal sector with the incidence of forced labor with its negative consequences on individuals, families, societies and the nation of Ghana as a whole. It will also increase collaboration and coordination amongst stakeholders working on forced labor and human trafficking to share information for improved performance.

This guidebook provides information on the concept and elements of a community-based early detection mechanism for labor exploitation of fishing vessel crews. The guidebook also provides details on the roles and responsibilities that community stakeholders can have within such mechanism, as well as instructions on how to conduct an investigation in addition to a case record book which can be used to log incident reports.

This document is the result of a self-assessment conducted by the Child Labour Unit in Ghana to assess Ghana's performance in eliminating child labor. The report includes information on child labor in Ghana, the framework for the elimination of child labor, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of efforts to address child labor.

The United States Department of Labor (USDOL) in collaboration with the Government of Tanzania initiated and funded International Rescue Committee (IRC) to undertake the WEKEZA Project with the goal of combatting child labor. The WEKEZA baseline study includes a situational assessment of child labor and the pre-program status of six specified program outcome areas in six targeted Districts: Kasulu, Uvinza, and Kigoma Ujiji in Kigoma Region, and Korogwe, Muheza, and Tanga City in Tanga Region.The first objective of the report is to conduct a situational analysis of specified program-related information; the second objective is to provide baseline values of Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) indicators; and the third objective is to provide contextual information that can help improve the program design. This baseline survey was carried out in 2013. The analysis combines mixed methods and integrates quantitative and qualitative data collected from households, children, teachers, local leaders, community members, parents and youth. This approach enables a holistic consideration of circumstances that influence child labor and allows findings to be viewed from multiple perspectives.

This assessment about access to education aims at the following objectives: first, to understand issues related to the education accessibility for primary and secondary school children in project locations in An Giang province; second, to map out all educational service providers to children of primary and secondary school age in project locations; and third, to propose concrete educational service packages suitable to project locations and methods by which the ILO/the ENHANCE project collaborates with partners in the education system to improve education accessibility and quality, an facilitate the transition from school to the workplace for the target child beneficiaries.

Communication, A Bet to Achieve Social Changes: An article reporting on the start of virtual trainings conducted by the Educational Institute of Rural Providence. The workshops aim to help attendees -- who included teachers and young adults -- to build communication skills and proficiency with communications tools such as radio, podcasts, writing and photography, allowing them to become more effective agents of change in their territories.
