This baseline report addresses the information gap on the subject of child labor and provides guidance to ARCH management in the design and implementation of the programs aimed at reducing child labor in Liberia.

This study aims to support national efforts to eliminate Worst Forms of Child Labor (WFCL) in the fishing sector. The purpose is to create a shared platform for action against child labor and trafficking in that sector. Specifically, the study's objectives are (i) to examine the scope of the problem of child labor in fishing on Lake Volta (ii) to find out the nature and dimensions of child labor in Lake Volta fishing, including the extent of trafficking into the sector especially of children from other regions and countries. (iii) to find out how the marketing and supply chains work and the underlying motive of fishing operators regarding the use of children (iv) to recommend measures to enhance interventions against child labor in the fishing sector in Ghana; and (v) to support the validation of research findings.

A report presenting results of research into the types and the magnitude of workplace hazards children were exposed to in Ethiopia, especially in the traditional weaving, farming and fishing sectors. Presents suggestions for standards that could be imposed upon informal labor sectors in two zones of the South Nation and Nationalities People Region, Wolayta and Gamo Gofa, and Guliele Sub-city in Addis Ababa administrative city.

This reference material is an addendum to the School Management Committee Resource Handbook. This addendum introduces three important reference materials: Child Labour, Governance and Leadership. Child labour is captured under Section 2 (Access and participation) of the training manual. Leadership and governance is captured under section 3 (management efficiency). This addendum seeks to provide information to trainers/facilitators using the updated SMC Training Manual.

This  guide  is  a  joint  endeavor  by  Verité  and  the  Labour  Department  to  help  build the  capacities  of  labor  inspectors  to  conduct  labor  inspections  in  both  the  formal and  informal  sectors  with  emphasis  on  the  informal  sector  with  the  incidence  of forced  labor  with its negative consequences on individuals, families, societies and the nation of Ghana as a whole. This document provides contextual information pertaining to child labor, with a focus on the agriculture industry. The Strategic Plan provides a framework for the Ministry of Food and Agriculture's child labor intervention in the context of the National Plan of Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour in Ghana (NPA 2009-2015). The strategic plan, a result of a consultative and technical process, identifies results, resources required and roles that the stakeholders in the agricultural sector will play in its implementation. 

This instruction manual for a joint inspection has been arranged as the reference of manpower supervision implementation to the fishing vessels crew in North Sulawesi Province. This is intended to ensure that the Fishing Vessels Crew are safe during their fishing operation at sea. The manual includes a general description and legal basis of joint inspection, the joint inspection instrument, and overview of the joint inspection mechanism.
