Mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative ) study on the causes, mechanism and consequences of early marriage in Ethiopia, focusing on Amhara National Regional State – one of the regions with the highest rate of early marriage. Study aims: investigate the psychosocial and health effects of early marriage, and inform the developmental, policy and intervention demands of the nation with evidence-based research to mitigate the problem of early marriage and its effects.

The 2015 National Child Labour Survey (NCLS) was a nationwide survey designed to collect data on demographic and socio-economic characteristics of working children aged 5-17 years.  The 2015 NCLS was supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO) through its Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work Branch (FUNDAMENTALS).  The 2015 NCLS was conducted by the National Statistical Office (NSO) in collaboration with Ministry of Labour, Youth and Manpower Development (MoLYMD) and Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development (MoAIWD).

This report constitutes an exploratory analysis of two previously selected border areas of Peru: between Peru and Ecuador through Tumbes and the triple border between Peru and Brazil and Colombia. These borders show a growing presence of forced labor and human trafficking, and this report offers a proposal of criteria that allow decisions to be made to carry out future in-depth investigations of these borders by regional governments and public & private institutions.

This is a research study that seeks to document the form of recruitment and economic logic of human trafficking and forced labor, as well as to establish analytical connections with the importance of illegal economies and organized crime in the triple border area of Peru, Brazil, and Colombia. The study seeks to collect data that facilitates the development of intervention strategies and implementation of national public policies for prevention, detection and prosecution.

This assessment of the Labor Inspectorate was conducted to contribute to a better understanding of the legislative, social and administrative environment in which Inspectors function, and the challenges they face in their day‐to‐day work. Information gathered from desk research and interviews with key stakeholders revealed common themes that inform the recommendations in this assessment. This assessment provides an overview of sectors in which child labor is most prevalent, an overview of the legal and policy framework relevant to addressing child labor, an overview pertaining to the activities of the Labor Inspectorate and recommendations to improve their response to child labor, and information on different actors' activities to address child labor.

Endline study for the ARCH project, which assesses measurable changes that occurred throughout the lifespan of the project and compares the findings with those from the baseline survey. The endline survey provides improved understanding of the outcomes of project activities, changes that transpired in the prevalence of child labor in project areas, and assessed possible impacts of the project interventions on the project’s direct beneficiaries.

This report provides statistical information on demographic and socio-economic characteristics of working children aged 5–17 years as well as some related information on the households they belong to. The report also contains survey findings about children’s non-economic activities, principally attending school and engagement in household chores. Generally, all estimates and classifications of the working children and child labour are aligned to the international statistical measurement standards adopted at 18th International Conference of Labour Statisticians (18th ICLS).

The survey collected information on children's economic activity, social status, living conditions, employment, type of employment, working conditions, sectors of activity and occupation, involvement in household chores, and interactions between employment-education and employment-health. In addition, the survey provided the opportunity to examine the characteristics of child labour in Armenia for the first time, including the involvement of children in hazardous labour. The survey findings will provide up-to-date statistical information on children's involvement in the labour market and enrich Armenia's labour market statistics, as well as clarify the situation of children's economic activity in the context of before-mentioned conventions.
