The DEEOIC Resource Centers are now open to visitors for appointments and walk-in visits. Walk-in visits will be temporarily suspended when COVID-19 community transmission levels are High in the specific county that the Resource Center is located in. A claimant may visit the Resource Center or schedule an in-person appointment with the Resource Center for assistance related to their claim. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact the Resource Center at the number below.
The Resource Centers are committed to ensuring they meet the needs of our claimants, authorized representatives, and stakeholders, and provide the assistance needed to allow for timely adjudication of their claims. Resource Center employees are available by telephone or in-person to answer questions, file claim forms, conduct Occupational History Interviews, and provide other services. If you have documents that need transmitting to the Department of Labor, we strongly encourage you to use the Energy Document Portal to upload documents directly to your case file, but the Resource Center staff can assist you with this upon request.
A Resource Center staff member will be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to receive documents that require submission to the Department of Labor. If you have documents that you would like to send to the Department of Labor, you may visit the Resource Center during office hours to drop off the documents.
Mask Requirement Information:
If the Resource Center is located in a county with a Low or Medium COVID-19 community level, masks are NOT required for employees, contractors, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.
If the Resource Center is located in a county with a High COVID-19 community level, masks ARE required for employees, contractors, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Additionally, walk-in visits to the Resource Center will be temporarily suspended. In this situation, you must schedule an appointment to visit the Resource Center.
Even when masking is not required, if a facility is located in an area with Low or Medium COVID-19 Community Level, you may choose to continue to wear a mask according to your personal situation or to be sensitive to coworkers, and Resource Center staff will accommodate any concerns you may have by wearing masks upon request.
Where a locality (city, county, or state) imposes more protective pandemic-related safety requirements, those requirements should be followed in DOL facilities within that locality.
