Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC)
Authorized Representatives residing in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, are invited to attend the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation’s (DEEOIC) Authorized Representative Workshop being held June 4-5, 2019 at the Embassy Suites Hotel located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The workshop is a two-day event for Authorized Representatives and attorneys who represent claimants under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). During the two-day workshop, Department of Labor (DOL) staff, as well as representatives from the Department of Energy, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Offices of the Ombudsman to NIOSH and DOL will present information on their EEOICPA roles.
Space is limited! We are taking reservations on a first-come, first- served basis. Should space remain, DEEOIC will offer invitations to those outside of this area; however, upcoming workshops will be taking place in different regions throughout the year. There is no cost to attend the workshop; however, all attendees will be responsible for their meals, transportation and hotel reservations.
