DEEOIC Hosts Teleconferences for Medical Providers! – Medical providers were invited to join one of two teleconferences on September 19 & 20, 2017, to learn more about medical benefits & medical billing under the EEOICPA. The teleconferences were hosted by the DEEOIC National Office. Each teleconference began with a 15-minute presentation, followed by open phone lines where participants could ask questions. More than 26 medical providers participated in the first session, followed by another 24 providers for the second session. Both sessions were very informative and set a dialogue in motion for responses to questions regarding the web portal; topics ranged from physical therapy and occupational therapy, to claim delays and adjusted claims. DEEOIC is committed to ensuring the continued success of its medical benefits program. Our goal is to work together with our enrolled providers, physicians, and approved beneficiaries to ensure that the medical benefits afforded under the EEOICPA are handled in a fair and expeditious manner. We appreciate the work of the Paducah Resource Center in accepting RSVPs and BOTA’s staff for sending out all of the invitation letters. Invitations were also sent via public email and email blast. Another awesome team effort!
