DEEOIC Hosts Teleconferences for Medical Providers! – Medical providers were invited to join one of two teleconferences held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 @ 1:00 pm EDT and Wednesday, June 13, 2018 @ 3:00 pm EDT to learn more about medical benefits & medical billing under the EEOICPA. The teleconferences were hosted by the DEEOIC National Office. Invitations were sent via public email and email blast, and RSVPs were received by the Hanford Resource Center. Each teleconference began with a 15-minute presentation, followed by open phone lines where participants could ask questions. The two presentation topics included: Follow-up to Bulletin 18-01, Prior Authorization for Rehabilitative Therapy Services and DEEOIC’s Face-to-Face Requirement for Ancillary Medical Services. Both sessions were informative and set a dialogue in motion for responses to questions regarding these topics. DEEOIC is committed to ensuring the continued success of its medical benefits program. Our goal is to work together with our enrolled providers, physicians, and approved beneficiaries to ensure that the medical benefits afforded under the EEOICPA are handled in a fair and expeditious manner.
