Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC)
We invite medical providers to join one of two teleconferences scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2019 and Friday, April 26, 2019, to learn more about medical benefits and medical billing under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). DEEOIC National Office hosts the teleconferences. Each teleconference will begin with a presentation, followed by open phone lines where participants can ask questions. Topics of discussion include:
- Impact of the Publication of the Final Rule Updating the Regulations Governing Administration of the EEOICPA
- Improvements to the process that OWCP will use for authorizing in-home healthcare. This process will enable DEEOIC to better provide its beneficiaries with appropriate care and use standardized procedures.
- Policy - Targeted Case Management for Home Health Care.
The information provided will be the same for both teleconferences. Please select the meeting date and time most convenient for you.
- Thursday, April 25, 2019
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm EDT
- Friday, April 26, 2019
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm EDT
The DEEOIC is committed to ensuring the continued success of its medical benefits program. Our goal is to work together with our enrolled providers, physicians, and approved beneficiaries to ensure that DEEOIC handles the medical benefits afforded under the EEOICPA in a fair and expeditious manner.
