Notice: OLMS Will Hold Public Meeting on Employer-Consultant Reporting
The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) is holding a public meeting on the regulations implementing the employer and consultant reporting requirements of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA). The meeting will focus on the regulations requiring employers and consultants to report on the Form LM-10 and Form LM-20, respectively, agreements to persuade employees regarding their rights to organize and bargain collectively, and the application of the “advice exception” of LMRDA section 203(c) to such requirements. The meeting will provide an opportunity for stakeholders and other interested parties to provide individual comments and suggestions. All interested parties are invited to participate. Public Meeting Date and Time: The meeting will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Location: The site for the May 24th event will be U.S. Department of Labor, Frances Perkins Building Auditorium, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.
