Form LM-2 Instructions Update
The Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) has updated the Instructions for the Form LM-2, Labor Organization Annual Report, to be consistent with the Form T-1, Trust Annual Report, published on October 2, 2008 (http://www.dol.gov/olms/regs/compliance/t1_intro.htm).
The Form T-1 is an annual financial disclosure report to be filed by labor unions about certain “trusts” in which they are interested. The Department has updated the Form LM-2 Instructions, Part X, Trusts in Which a Labor Organization is Interested, to align it with the Form T-1. The updated Part X remains at pages 4 – 6, and the Form LM-2 Instructions are located at http://www.dol.gov/olms/regs/compliance/erds/LM2Instr2-2-04koREVISED.pdf.
