OLMS Revises Fact Sheet on Form LM-30, Union Officer and Employee Report
The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) has revised the information relating to Part C of Form LM-30. The sections of the Fact Sheet entitled -When must I complete Part C of Form LM-30?- and -What are some examples of situations that I must report in Part C?- have been changed to clarify that payments by an employer (not covered by Part A or Part B of Form LM-30) are reportable in Part C only if the payments are a conflict of interest or a potential conflict of interest.
In addition, the last sentence of the section -When must I complete Part C of Form LM-30,- which listed certain types of payments that must be reported, was removed because its placement incorrectly suggested that such payments were reportable only under Part C, and was therefore confusing. Information better describing these payments and illustrating the manner in which they may be reportable will be added to Form LM-30 Frequently Asked Questions.

OLMS is in the process of revising the Form LM-30 PowerPoint presentations to reflect these revisions and will post new presentations shortly.
