OFCCP Southeast Region Presents: Post-Secondary Pathways to Careers for Students with Disabilities featuring the ODEP, CAPE Youth, and Onon
The U.S. Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) Southeast Region and the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) invite you to attend our upcoming virtual webinar event "Post-Secondary Pathways to Careers for Students with Disabilities" featuring the Office of Disability Employment Policy, its Youth Policy Development Center (CAPE Youth) and Onondaga Community College, recent Pathways to Careers demonstration grantee.
As youth and young adults with disabilities transition from post-secondary education to employment, there are a number of initiatives from states and post-secondary institutions that are operational and prepare them for careers in high-demand fields.
This presentation will highlight the following:
- OFCCP, the laws it enforces, and its section 503 efforts and resources
- State and institution-level postsecondary efforts focused on improving outcomes for students with disabilities
- Lessons Learned from Community College Pathways demonstration efforts
