Pay Secrecy Policies Webinar for All Federal Contractors

Pay Secrecy Policies Webinar for All Federal Contractors
Presented by
U.S. Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) Indianapolis District Office and U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division (WHD) Indianapolis District Office

OFCCP will discuss Pay Secrecy Policies, which will be on the implementation of Executive Order 13665 and describe how Federal contractors and subcontractors are prohibited from establishing policies that limit an employee’s ability to discuss compensation with peers.

WHD will discuss the details of Davis-Bacon compliance, starting with a discussion history and coverage of which workers are subject to Davis-Bacon labor standards, as well as the location-specific limitations on the prevailing wage requirements. WHD will also discuss how to ensure that covered workers receive the correct prevailing wage rate for the classifications of work they perform, and the requirements for contractors to submit certified payrolls to their contracting agency, affirming that prevailing wages have been paid to the covered workers.
