This document describes a workshop held for journalists and communicators to establish strong relations with the media by using strategies such as training and sensitization of journalists with the aim of increasing media coverage of child labor activities, including issues related to trafficking. The capacity building workshop aimed to build the capacity of journalists to fight against child trafficking and child labor by improving their knowledge in order to ensure wide dissemination of awareness messages.

This document provides a summary of a capacity-building workshop that was held for decision-makers organized to meet the objectives of the project for the elimination of the worst forms of child labor (WFCL) in West Africa and the strengthening of sub-regional cooperation through ECOWAS (ECOWAS) which aims to contribute through national and sub-regional initiatives to address the worst forms of child labor in West Africa. This workshop sought to engage in the recommendation related to national budgeting processes so that the staffing strength and resources of the child labor unit are increased in line with the management structure proposed under the BANG. Of note, the "Liste de présence" in the document has been removed for privacy purposes. 

Study on the Employment Situation of Adolescent Workers in El Alto and Plan 3000: a study of the labor market and access to the market for lower-income working adolescents in the city of El Alto de La Paz and Plan 3,000 of Santa Cruz. The study should provide more quantitative and qualitative elements on the structure of adolescent work in the form of i) self-employment or self-employment, ii) dependent employment in the informal economy, and iii) dependent employment in the formal economy.

Design of the Urban Production Strategy for the Adolescent Employment Program - "PHASE I: Diagnosis of the Current Situation: Labor Market of Adolescent Workers in the Urban Area of the Project": The main objective of the diagnosis has been the collection of primary and secondary information on the socio economic context of working adolescents and their parents in Bolivia, La Paz and San ta Cruz; the economic context in those regions; and the direct perceptions of working adolescents and their parents about their sustainable insertion in the labor market.

This report shares out the results from a rapid assessment on the child labor situation in mining and small scale quarries areas of Ogun and Oyo states of Nigeria in order to inform the extent of project interventions required in the area.

A needs assessment was carried out to identify the main issues that keep children out of school in the target project districts and to design appropriate interventions. The study involved a qualitative research that used secondary data, including literature review of legislative, policy and program documents related to education to ascertain the state of education in Ghana.

A training module explaining what child labor is, indicators of child labor, and ways in which data pertaining to child labor can be collected and measured.

A training module presenting the definitions of different exploitation types such as child labor and worst forms of child labor. The module also provides information on the prohibited of child labor activities in Ghana as well as context on the Harkin-Engel Protocol and Tulane University's related activities to address the Protocol.

A presentation reviewing some international and local policies pertaining to worst forms of child labor and child protection. The presentation also gives some recommendations for improving law enforcement.
