A Spanish-language guide to assist women's economic empowerment staff in better understanding the local characteristics and experiences of harmful work for children (child labor) and adults as they occur generally, and within women’s enterprises, to integrate child protection into women's economic empowerment actor product and service design.

This Spanish-language guide explains how entrepreneurs can avoid harmful work for children and adults if given access to a portfolio of well-designed and implemented financial services. This guide aims to improve the design and implementation of financial services so that they have better uptake and use and create more benefit to women entrepreneurs and their families and so that they Do No Harm.

The first part of a Spanish-language guide designed to be used as a training to help organizations improve their programs in proactive support of child protection by utilizing market research, defining and understanding key terms related to harmful work for children, and developing tools that promote safe and healthy working conditions. This guide consists of two parts: Part 1 is this Facilitator’s Guide and Part 2 is a PowerPoint training presentation.

This report analyzes the effect that Argentina's Emergency Family Income (Ingreso  Familiar de Emergencia (IFE)) program had on the participation of adolescents in the labor market, specifically considering the IFE as a protection and prevention mechanism against adolescents' their early insertion in the labor market.

This study seeks to understand, from a gender perspective, the ways that families' living conditions, the labor trajectories of adults, and the gendered division of labor in households influence the relationship to work formed by boys, girls, and adolescents (niños, niñas, y adolescentes (NNyA)), as well as  expectations regarding their future job opportunities. 
This study employs a critical analysis approach to child labor (TI) that recognizes that the social relations generated in certain contexts determine, on the one hand, how childhood is defined, and on the other, the conditions and perceptions about it. 
These dynamics are analyzed using case studies of households in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires in 2020, the first full year of the COVID-19 pandemic and a year in which the economy and employment were in crisis.

This training manual (Annex G) was developed within the framework of the International Labor Organization’s (ILO) "Together Against Child Labor in Tunisia" (PROTECTE) project. The  objective  of  this  project  is  to  provide  support  to  the  Tunisian Government and key stakeholders in the implementation of the National Action Plan to Combat Child Labor (PAN-TN). This manual is a technical training tool intended for field workers (labor inspectors, medical labor inspectors, social workers, child protection officers, judicial police officers, social partners and civil society) working with children at risk of and/or engaged in child labor. This manual should enable field actors to understand the key concepts, normative framework and good practices related to child labor; appreciate the importance of taking child labor into consideration in their areas of work; recognize their role in protecting children from exploitation; and transform the knowledge gained from the training into concrete measures that reduce the prevalence of child labor.
