This reference material is an addendum to the School Management Committee Resource Handbook. This addendum introduces three important reference materials: Child Labour, Governance and Leadership. Child labour is captured under Section 2 (Access and participation) of the training manual. Leadership and governance is captured under section 3 (management efficiency). This addendum seeks to provide information to trainers/facilitators using the updated SMC Training Manual.

In view of the need to build capacity of all relevant and key partners of the ILO-CCP/PPP project on Community Action Plans (CAPs), a needs assessment of the community level and district level partners was conducted by ICI in collaboration with ILO.

Study on the Employment Situation of Adolescent Workers in El Alto and Plan 3000: a study of the labor market and access to the market for lower-income working adolescents in the city of El Alto de La Paz and Plan 3,000 of Santa Cruz. The study should provide more quantitative and qualitative elements on the structure of adolescent work in the form of i) self-employment or self-employment, ii) dependent employment in the informal economy, and iii) dependent employment in the formal economy.

A needs assessment was carried out to identify the main issues that keep children out of school in the target project districts and to design appropriate interventions. The study involved a qualitative research that used secondary data, including literature review of legislative, policy and program documents related to education to ascertain the state of education in Ghana.

“¡Cojan Oficio!” the Somos Tesoro Campaign:  the campaign of Pact Colombia, was born within the framework of the Somos Tesoro project. It proposes that adults forge responsibility in their children through activities appropriate for children and adolescents.

Construction of a compliance system for the prevention and eradication of Child Labor and promotion of protected adolescent labor in Yerba Mate - This report provides a characterization of the production process of yerba mate in Misiones, from a child labor perspective: the main tasks that it involves, the workers that it demands and the dangers that its performance would imply for a child or adolescent.

This document provides contextual information pertaining to child labor, with a focus on the agriculture industry. The Strategic Plan provides a framework for the Ministry of Food and Agriculture's child labor intervention in the context of the National Plan of Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour in Ghana (NPA 2009-2015). The strategic plan, a result of a consultative and technical process, identifies results, resources required and roles that the stakeholders in the agricultural sector will play in its implementation.
