Fledglings, Idle People and Warriors: Perception Study on Child Labor in Mining Areas of Colombia: This qualitative study examines the perceptions that those directly involved have about child labor. By directly involved we refer to minors who work or they might be able to work and the adults responsible for their upbringing. This document contains five stories that show the narration of the participants in a fictional format. They are stories about the experiences of these families around child labor. They collect the description of their environment, their way of expressing themselves, their anecdotes, their expectations and desires from the observer's point of view. |

Perceptions and Imaginaries about Child Labor in Colombian Gold and Coal Mining: This study tries to identify these relationships and propose alternatives to overcome the factors that promote and justify it. The study combines quantitative and qualitative social research techniques to obtain a different perception, with an internalized vision of the causes of child labor, both at a general level and at a particular level in the Colombian ASM of coal and gold. In addition, it offers an analysis without barriers, which highlights the point of view of miners and shows the importance of taking their opinions into account, with a view to making them the agents of change on child labor. |

This facilitator’s guide provides tips and advice to help facilitators successfully use the curriculum for Labor Inspection Training on Child Labor in Liberia. It describes the purpose and objectives of the training; provides an overview of the training structure and format; gives examples of icebreakers and energizers; and includes sample training agendas and course evaluations. The curriculum is based on a training methodology that encourages participants to play an active role, contributing their professional expertise on how to improve the response to child labor in the workplace. The curriculum is comprehensive and covers a wide array of topics relevant to those engaged in the fight against child labor. |

Participating in this cultural project has taught him many things, such as the importance of arriving on time for rehearsals, reviewing his scripts, investigating the stories and characters they represent, working as a team and improving his body language. |

Ethiopia National Child Labour Survey 2015
Show Description
The Child Labour Survey 2015 carried out in Ethiopia collected information on the demographic characteristics of the population, including their education, health, employment, migration, and housing characteristics. The survey covered both the rural and urban areas of the country. It was conducted in 721 enumeration selected areas consisting of 21, 526 private households from 25 May to 23 July 2015. Basic information on all persons living in private households was solicited. The population targeted by the survey was the group of children aged 5 to 17 years. |
