This document reports the key achievements from a workshop that was conducted in Kathmandu which aimed to introduce ILO's mandate and structure as well as the BRIDGE Project and its activities to fight forced and child labor. The workshop included key representatives from relevant ministries and other government institutes in Nepal.

Nepal's Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) outlines the key strategies and priorities to strengthen the country's institutional capacity and apply fundamental conventions and international labor standards for its people.

This facilitator’s guide provides tips and advice to help facilitators successfully use the curriculum for Labor Inspection Training on Child Labor in Nepal. It describes the purpose and objectives of the training; provides an overview of the training structure and format; gives examples of icebreakers and energizers; and includes sample training agendas and course evaluations. The curriculum is based on a training methodology that encourages participants to play an active role, contributing their professional expertise on how to improve the response to child labor in the workplace.

The 2015 National Child Labour Survey (NCLS) was a nationwide survey designed to collect data on demographic and socio-economic characteristics of working children aged 5-17 years.The 2015 NCLS was supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO) through its Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work Branch (FUNDAMENTALS).The 2015 NCLS was conducted by the National Statistical Office (NSO) in collaboration with Ministry of Labour, Youth and Manpower Development (MoLYMD) and Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development (MoAIWD).

Training module in the 3-R Trainer's Kit. This module explains different forms of violence, including physical, psychological and sexual violence, and addresses drugs related issues. The main focus is on how to deal with violence within the family, at work and in education-related situations and how to prevent drug and alcohol abuse. The exercises aim to help participants identify ways to prevent and solve problems related to physical, psychological and sexual violence and to learn how to say “No” to pressure to use drugs and alcohol.

Training module in the 3-R Trainer's Kit. This module discusses the key responsibilities of workers and and explains their fundamental rights at work. In the first unit, participants are familiarized with workers’ basic responsibilities at work and in the family. The second unit gives an overview of the fundamental principles and rights at work as agreed by ILO member States in 1998. Emphasis is given to the principles: “No to Discrimination” and “Right to Organize”, as these are vital for realizing decent work for all workers in the global economy. The unit concludes with an introduction to decent work for domestic workers. Finally, Unit 3 discusses priority health issues at work: maternity protection, occupational safety and health and fair treatment of workers living with HIV and AIDS.

User Guide to the 3-R Trainer's Kit. The 3-R Trainers’ Kit on Rights, Responsibilities and Representation for Children, Youth and Families – or the 3-R Trainers’ Kit – is an interactive training tool for use in communities with children, youth and families, especially those at risk of child labour and trafficking of children and women for labour or sexual exploitation. The 3-R Trainers’ Kit is an action-oriented tool for trainers and field workers to improve understanding about child labour, gender equality, rights, responsibilities, and representation among children, youth and adults who face hardships in life.

Guide for the Application of Step 5 - We are a Team - Strategies that Strengthen the Coordination of Municipal Management to Prevent and Reduce Child Labor in Mining: This document presents a guide for the application of the "Comprehensive Territorial Management Route for the Prevention and Elimination of Mining Child Labor", a tool that will provide the relevant authorities a step by step guide to identify, target and detect the populations at greatest risk, implement prevention strategies, and reduce child labor in informal mining in their municipalities.

Endline study for the ARCH project, which assesses measurable changes that occurred throughout the lifespan of the project and compares the findings with those from the baseline survey. The endline survey provides improved understanding of the outcomes of project activities, changes that transpired in the prevalence of child labor in project areas, and assessed possible impacts of the project interventions on the project’s direct beneficiaries.

This document presents Burkina Faso's 2018-2020 operational action plan to address the worst forms of child labor. The operational action plan is structured as follows: i) a brief presentation of the National Strategy to Combat the Worst Forms of Child Labor (SN-PFTE); (ii) an overview of the financing for the SN-PFTE action plan; (iii) an overview of the implementation and monitoring-evaluation strategy; iv) conditions for success, v) major risks, vi) a matrix of the SN-PFTE 2018-2020 Operational Action Plan.
