This study focuses on the attitudes and behavior of police officers around child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking (CFT). The study is based on a randomized controlled trial that surveyed over 1,000 law enforcement officers in Nepal and examined the effects of three types of campaigns focused on raising greater awareness about CFT among law enforcement officers.

A literature review of child labor and forced labor works in the major research bibliographic databases. Review queries yielded 614 original research papers published since 2010. This review found that the published literature overemphasizes research on forced labor. Impact evaluations, especially randomized control trials are rare. Hence, the literature is far from providing a complete toolkit of what works for child labor and forced labor.

This facilitator’s guide provides tips and advice to help facilitators successfully use the curriculum for Labor Inspection Training on Child Labor in Burkina Faso. It describes the purpose and objectives of the training; provides an overview of the training structure and format; gives examples of icebreakers and energizers; and includes sample training agendas and course evaluations. The curriculum is based on a training methodology that encourages participants to play an active role, contributing their professional expertise on how to improve the response to child labor in the workplace.

The Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) Study on Child Labor set out to collect qualitative and quantitative information on the KAP of a number of actors with regard to child labor in Tunisia. The study's goal was to assess indicators on KAP that motivate practices regarding child labor. Appendix 9.1 has been removed from the document due to personal identifiable information.
