A report presenting the results of a baseline and prevalence survey on the topic of child labor administered to caregivers and children in Chadiza, Chipata, Katete, Lundazi, and Petauke in Eastern province of Zambia. The first part of the report covers the background information of the baseline study followed by detailed description of the approach used to collect, analyze and present the baseline findings. The report highlights some of the study limitations before presenting the baseline results. This is then followed by the conclusions and recommendations.

Training module in the 3-R Trainer's Kit.  This module discusses the key responsibilities of workers and and explains their fundamental rights at work. In the first unit, participants are familiarized with workers’ basic responsibilities at work and in the family. The second unit gives an overview of the fundamental principles and rights at work as agreed by ILO member States in 1998. Emphasis is given to the principles: “No to Discrimination” and “Right to Organize”, as these are vital for realizing decent work for all workers in the global economy. The unit concludes with an introduction to decent work for domestic workers. Finally, Unit 3 discusses priority health issues at work: maternity protection, occupational safety and health and fair treatment of workers living with HIV and Aids.

The survey collected information on children's economic activity, social status, living conditions, employment, type of employment, working conditions, sectors of activity and occupation, involvement in household chores, and interactions between employment-education and employment-health. In addition, the survey provided the opportunity to examine the characteristics of child labour in Armenia for the first time, including the involvement of children in hazardous labour. The survey findings will provide up-to-date statistical information on children's involvement in the labour market and enrich Armenia's labour market statistics, as well as clarify the situation of children's economic activity in the context of before-mentioned conventions.

In the fourth quarter of 2015 the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT) conducted the National Child Labour Survey (NCLS) with financial and technical support of the International Labour Organization (ILO). The survey covered approximately 7,700 households with 5-17 year-old children. The survey is based on the UN Convention on the rights of the child and the ILO Fundamental Conventions on prohibition and elimination of child labour. The objective of the NCLS 2015 is to assess the situation, scope, causes and consequences of child labour in Georgia.

The overall objective of the report is to study the extent and characteristics of productive activities (i.e. economic and non-economic) carried out by children and adolescents between 5 and 17 years of age in El Salvador, and in particular, identify the forms of work prohibited by national legislation and international conventions ratified by the country, with particular emphasis on those that should be urgently eradicated (e.g., hazardous work).

The objectives of this report are to determine the magnitude and characteristics of economic activity (occupancy rates, child labor, hazardous work, risk of forced labor) and to analyze patterns of time use (participation in economic activities, school attendance and participation in housework at home) of children aged 5 to 17 years in Peru. It also aims to analyze the determinants of the relationship between the participation of children of this age group in economic activities and school, describe the relationship between child labor and health, estimate the magnitude and characterize the participation of children in domestic tasks in the home itself, and present the progress of the National Strategy for the Prevention and Eradication of Child Labor project from 2012-2021.

This report lays out the results from the Survey of Activties of Boys, Girls, and Adolescents in rural areas (EANA) of Paraguay. This research seeks to generate first-hand statistical information that provides a detailed dive into the tasks carried out by children and adolescents who live in rural areas of the country, with particular interest in agricultural, livestock, forestry and fishing economic activities.

Report on study assessing the effectiveness of of youth employment interventions by E-FACE Program. Assessed interventions include: Occupational safety and health training, business owner incentives, working condition improvements, education interventions, etc. Sectors focused on include the weaving and agricultural sectors, among others.
