A set of guidelines concerning the measurement of forced labor, produced by the ILO for 20th International Conference of Labour Statisticians (Geneva, 10-19 October 2018).  These guidelines are designed to facilitate the measurement of forced labor in different national circumstances and under different measurement objectives.

The guidelines provide recommendations for the collection and analysis of forced labor statistics, and to facilitate the international comparability of forced labor statistics by minimizing definitional and methodological differences across countries.

Although justices of the peace are not empowered to resolve cases related to crimes, they have a crucial role insofar as their powers are limited to the field of prevention, awareness and inter-institutional coordination for handling cases of forced labor.

This report is a comparative analysis of the laws and regulations in Peru concerning forced labor and human trafficking. The document outlines existing laws surrounding these issues, how to identify such criminal offenses, and their legal ramifications.

This report constitutes an exploratory analysis of two previously selected border areas of Peru: between Peru and Ecuador through Tumbes and the triple border between Peru and Brazil and Colombia. These borders show a growing presence of forced labor and human trafficking, and this report offers a proposal of criteria that allow decisions to be made to carry out future in-depth investigations of these borders by regional governments and public & private institutions.

This is a research study that seeks to document the form of recruitment and economic logic of human trafficking and forced labor, as well as to establish analytical connections with the importance of illegal economies and organized crime in the triple border area of Peru, Brazil, and Colombia. The National Strategy for the Fight against the Worst Forms of Child Labor (Strategie Nationale de Lutte Contre les Pires Formes de Travail des Enfants (SN-PFTE)) defines guidelines and includes a set of actions to protect children against their exploitation through work. It also describes the mechanisms and procedures for implementing these actions. The document also includes an overview of the child labor situation in Burkina Faso
