A module regarding the topic of preventing and reducing children's exposure to pesticides. The objectives of this module are to help participants identify how children are exposed to pesticides, describe to participants the negative health effects of pesticides and why children are more exposed, and to help participants identify how they can reduce children's exposure to pesticides in their community.

The activity is to enhance the capacity of the extensions services in the provision of relevant support to farmers to improve cocoa and other agriculture production through effective Occupational Safety and Health measures, actions against child labor, especially with respect to hazardous work, including their active participation in the Ghana Child Labour Monitoring System (GCLMS).

The objective of this guide is to effectively support the transfer of knowledge and know-how to small producers involved in the IPEC-CCP-BIT 2013 project in order to increase productivity, quality and economic viability of production. of cocoa to support sustainable development of the cocoa sector in Côte d'Ivoire.

This manual is intended as a working tool available to structures and supervisory agents in the agricultural world in general and cocoa producers in particular.

A report on the outcome of three (3) training/capacity-building workshops for Cocoa and Agriculture Extensions officers:  1 TOT for training officers, and 2 phases of trainings for front line staff of the two Extensions Services (DAES and CSSVDCU).  The first (TOT) roudn of trainings aimed to develop a corps of trainers on Child Labour issues in the agriculture and cocoa sub‐sector, and to enable these two Extension Services to mainstream child labour issues into their normal institutional trainings for purposes of sustainability of child labour interventions in the sector.  The second round of trainings aimed to equip participants with knowledge and skills in managing and preventing child labour as well as providing relevant support for improved OSH in the sector.

This reference material is an addendum to the School Management Committee Resource Handbook. This addendum introduces three important reference materials: Child Labour, Governance and Leadership. Child labour is captured under Section 2 (Access and participation) of the training manual. Leadership and governance is captured under section 3 (management efficiency). This addendum seeks to provide information to trainers/facilitators using the updated SMC Training Manual.

This SMC Training Manual seeks to provide basic guide for the training of School Management Committees. It seeks to help facilitators and SMCs understand what is already in the SMC Resource Manual. This Training Manual particularly focuses on issues of Child Labor and Education and has therefore expanded on topics under Child Rights in the Resource Manual. This is as a result of the greater recognition that the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service and its development partners give to the issue of child labor and education. This document describes a workshop held for journalists and communicators to establish strong relations with the media by using strategies such as training and sensitization of journalists with the aim of increasing media coverage of child labor activities, including issues related to trafficking. The capacity building workshop aimed to build the capacity of journalists to fight against child trafficking and child labor by improving their knowledge in order to ensure wide dissemination of awareness messages.
