Guide for Mining Free of Child Labor: This guide contains information related to the rights of children, adolescents and their families; the phenomenon of child labor in Colombia and, particularly, in mining. It also presents the child labor reporting route, a tool used to identify the risks of child labor in a small mine and the social programs offered by public and private institutions, aimed at mitigating the effects of the problem in the territories.

Gender Gaps in Mining: Colombian Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining from a Gender Perspective: This study aims to contribute to the understanding of gender inequalities in artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) through the thoughts, visions and perceptions of male and female miners about them; as well as analyze from a gender perspective the regulations and public policies applicable to the mining sector.

El Triunfo, An Example of Small Mining Done Right: Today, the El Triunfo mine is a source of pride for the Cárdenas and their community. Not only do they work safely and efficiently, but they have made their mine a space that offers better conditions. The Alliance for Responsible Mining, within the framework of the Somos Tesoro project, reached its mountains in 2014 and since then has helped train these miners to guarantee the appropriate Mining Safety and Hygiene conditions, and implement new measures to improve their practices. and mitigate the environmental impact.

Livelihoods in Colombia: The Livelihoods program developed by Pact in Colombia has led rural communities in a situation of poverty to grow and move towards prosperity. Pact's work has had a significant impact on the lives of historically marginalized households, including populations engaged in artisanal and small-scale gold and coal mining.

Lizeth is part of one of the beneficiary households that the Somos Tesoro project has trained in family economics and savings models. The Pact team took on the task of advising families in the community on financial management, creating a family budget and eliminating superfluous expenses, to improve their economic solvency.

Survey of the Final Line of the Somos Tesoro Project: This study measures the change in the prevalence of Child Labor in eight municipalities in the departments of Antioquia and Boyacá in Colombia, where the NGO Pact, carried out the Somos Tesoro project between the end of 2013 and 2017, focused on child labor in mining. This report statistically tested the difference in variables and indicators of interest, between a baseline survey (November 2014 - February 2015) and the final line survey (March - April 2018). The quantitative analysis is complemented with a qualitative analysis carried out from four focus groups with parents of households participating in the Project.

This final evaluation report provides an overview of AYEDI project activities which aimed to foster decent work opportunities for vulnerable youth ages 15 to 17,  to increase the provision of basic needs of adoloscent youth and children by caregivers, as well as to increase small-scale employers' compliance with child labor laws. The report also includes a breakdown of the evaluation scope and objectives, the data collection and analysis protocol, the findings of the evaluation, as well as the lessons learned and good practices.

This case study report provides an overview of the AYEDI project goals as well as an overview of the activities executed  by the project, such as the creation of AYEDI Youth Empowerment Clubs which helped to prepare youth to select and succeed in their livelihood pathways. The case study also reveals the elements contributing to the success of the project as well as an overview of the key lessons learned.

This facilitator’s guide provides tips and advice to help facilitators successfully use the curriculum for Labor Inspection Training on Child Labor in Liberia. It describes the purpose and objectives of the training; provides an overview of the training structure and format; gives examples of icebreakers and energizers; and includes sample training agendas and course evaluations. The curriculum is based on a training methodology that encourages participants to play an active role, contributing their professional expertise on how to improve the response to child labor in the workplace. The curriculum is comprehensive and covers a wide array of topics relevant to those engaged in the fight against child labor.

A facilitator's guide which includes five modules, each with lessons and interactive exercises designed to help participants apply lessons to real-life situations. The five modules focus on the definitions and legal frameworks pertaining to child labor, the roles and responsibilities of labor inspectors in addressing child labor, and appraoches for the identification, elimination, and prevention of child labor.
