The first section of this document presents a synoptic background of the state’s profile, the development process and the rationale for a State Action Plan. The State Action Plan provides the roadmap for the implementation of the National Policy on the Elimination of Child Labour in Ogun State through a variety of implementation strategies such as awareness raising and resource mobilization. The second section of the document describes the policy environment, existing gaps and recommended interventions. The section also highlights the achievements, gaps and recommended actions to be taken. Section three describes the intervention strategies and M&E framework while section four contains information on the Implementation of the State Action Plan. |

The report also presents the magnitude and characteristics of child labor, through the analysis of official information and field verification and description of the palm and cocoa production processes that incorporate children and adolescents in these activities. This study is the product of a consultancy commissioned from COMUNIDEC by the International Labor Office, and is linked to the expected results of the project "Building effective policies against child labor in Ecuador and Panama" (RLA 104) and the activities of El Plan Global de Acción Financiera. |

This report is a prevalence study on child labor in Rwanda’s tea growing areas. The primary objective of the study was to estimate the prevalence of working children and hazardous work in tea production and to better understand child labor dynamics, focusing on tea-growing areas of the country. This study also serves as a baseline context for the Rwanda Education Alternatives for Children in Tea-growing Areas project (REACH-T) and is the first large scale survey aimed at estimating child labor rates in the tea-growing areas in Rwanda. |
