The press briefing announces the launch of a Platform of ECOWAS Parliamentarians against Child Labour. Additionally, the press briefing also provides information on the situation of child labor in Ghana, existing regulations, as well as efforts and interventions made to address child labor.

This document provides an overview of some of the child labor related findings from a Ghana Living Standards Survey, as well as information regarding the situation of child labor, existing regulations,  as well as efforts and interventions made to address child labor in Ghana. A manual produced by the ILO's International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (ILO-IPEC) in collaboration with the General Agricultural Workers' Union (GAWU of GTUC) to serve as an essential training tool for workers in the rural communities, especially farmers, to promote and ensure safety at the work place. It is one of IPEC's strategies in working with workers' representatives and employers' organizations to help ensure that work is safe for all. The production of this farmer-friendly manual fits under a new generation of ILO-IPEC projects in West Africa namely “Towards Child Labour-Free Cocoa Communities in d'Ivoire and Ghana through Integrated Area-Based Approach” financed by the United States Department of Labor and “Combating Child Labour in Cocoa-Growing Communities in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire” financed by the Global Issues Group (GIG).

Communication and Awareness Strategy - Communicational Diagnosis: The document presents the institutional diagnosis in communication matters, in which an exploration and analysis is made of the current state of the communication and information actions implemented by the institution, as well as the identification of needs.

A research report that seeks to identify practical and sustainable measures to enhance cocoa productivity and improve livelihoods in cocoa growing communities in Ghana within the context of eliminating child labor in accordance with the specific needs of the target groups. The key research objective is to enhance sustainable livelihoods and improve the economic and social wellbeing through improving knowledge in agricultural practices and access to innovative opportunities to sustain increased productivity and reduce dependence on child labor. The report also includes a guide to help enhance trainers' capacity to engage with farmers.

The purpose of this rapid market assessment was to identify and support the development of economically viable and sustainable livelihoods activities that will address long-term livelihood needs of targeted beneficiaries and communities in Liberia.
