ILAB-funded technical assistance projects produce a large body of knowledge and resources, including toolkits, project reports, training manuals, and implementation guides. These resources produced by ILAB’s grantees are presented here in a searchable online library so that they may help support and inform current and future projects to end abusive labor practices worldwide.

The overall objective of the report is to study the extent and characteristics of productive activities (i.e. economic and non-economic) carried out by children and adolescents between 5 and 17 years of age in El Salvador, and in particular, identify the forms of work prohibited by national legislation and international conventions ratified by the country, with particular emphasis on those that should be urgently eradicated (e.g., hazardous work). |

The good practices identified fall under the thematic areas of project design and implementation; legislation; policy development and enforcement; awareness raising; sensitization and advocacy; formal and informal education; social protection mechanisms for family empowerment; learning and sharing; capacity building and the Child Labour Monitoring System (CLMS). |

The purpose of this compendium is to provide the community of practice with a set of approaches that yield results. |
