This report  describes in the final  evaluation of the  ‘Combatting  Child Labor in the  Democratic Republic of the Congo’s  Cobalt Industry’  (COTECCO)  project. Fieldwork for this evaluation was conducted  in  April  2022.       Sistemas  Familia  y    Sociedad   -  Consultores  Asociados  EIRL  Ltd.  conducted   this   independent   evaluation   in   collaboration   with   the      project   team      and stakeholders,  and  prepared  the  evaluation  report.

A guide about how to report cases of forced labor and human trafficking; how to collect further information from the victim; how to assess immediate needs; and actions to be undertaken for cases of human trafficking for forced labor or non-human trafficking cases.

This stakeholder assessment report addresses:  the capacity, resources, and systems of cocoa cooperatives and local enforcement regimes that are tasked with monitoring and enforcing child labor laws in the Ashanti region; current programs in the Ashanti region relevant to child labor (e.g. livelihood, social protection, and child labor remediation services); and remaining gaps in and barriers to monitoring, enforcement, and accountability for child labor violations and child labor survivor access to services.

The Training Based on the Quality Job as Proposed by the TJCR Model: The FBPT-C is a tool that public policy actors can use to support vulnerable adolescents and children by providing them with training in personal, social and workplace skills.  

This policy paper explains the context of the brick industry in Nepal; laws and policies related to its management; and how these are changing in the new federal context. A legal analysis of policy gaps and responsibilities designated to the new local governments is meant to be of interest to local leaders as well as policy makers at the provincial, and federal level supporting them. This paper also provides recommendations for emerging issues to attend to and practical recommendations for ways forward to reduce labor exploitation and child labor and ensure effective industry insight.
