The 2015 National Child Labour Survey (NCLS) was a nationwide survey designed to collect data on demographic and socio-economic characteristics of working children aged 5-17 years. The 2015 NCLS was supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO) through its Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work Branch (FUNDAMENTALS). The 2015 NCLS was conducted by the National Statistical Office (NSO) in collaboration with Ministry of Labour, Youth and Manpower Development (MoLYMD) and Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development (MoAIWD). |

This assessment of the Labor Inspectorate was conducted to contribute to a better understanding of the legislative, social and administrative environment in which Inspectors function, and the challenges they face in their day‐to‐day work. Information gathered from desk research and interviews with key stakeholders revealed common themes that inform the recommendations in this assessment. This assessment provides an overview of sectors in which child labor is most prevalent, an overview of the legal and policy framework relevant to addressing child labor, an overview pertaining to the activities of the Labor Inspectorate and recommendations to improve their response to child labor, and information on different actors' activities to address child labor. |

Tanzania national child labour survey 2014: Analytical Report

This report provides statistical information on demographic and socio-economic characteristics of working children aged 5–17 years as well as some related information on the households they belong to. The report also contains survey findings about children’s non-economic activities, principally attending school and engagement in household chores. Generally, all estimates and classifications of the working children and child labour are aligned to the international statistical measurement standards adopted at 18th International Conference of Labour Statisticians (18th ICLS). |
