What Does Somos Tesoro Leave Us? : Before Somos Tesoro arrived, we had a very different life, says Mercedes Cárdenas, a woman leader of the Guantó village, in Gámeza, Boyacá. “We each lived on her side. Today we are a group, we are five women, and we created our community garden, which has given us a lot for sustenance”. Now, in the process of closing the project in Boyacá, Mercedes feels confident in the future of her group and her garden: "Somos Tesoro leaves us with the strengthening of the family to build our future." |
